After teaching school for several years, Gay started "playing" at Elaine's. She has now moved from the ranks of "wannabee quilter" to "actual quilter." She has won many quilting awards including the most unkempt sewing room, the most fabric scraps, and the oldest unfinished projects: also Quirky Quilter Sense of Humor (which you need with a name like mine!) When not sewing, Gay plays grandma, gardener, reads, and travels with a wonderful husband.
